Elizabeth Ward Turner

Elizabeth Ward Turner, age 73, of the Rocks Springs Community, Lula, Georgia, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Turner was born on August 10, 1936 in Morgan County, Georgia to the late George Glenn, Sr. and Lonnie Gowder Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Ward, George Ward, Albert Ward & Glenn Ward, Jr.; her sisters, Mary Lou Lankford, Mildred Hilsman, Rushie Ward, and Lucy Grace Ward, and her father and mother-in-law: W. F. and Floyce Turner. Mrs. Turner attended the Hickory Flat United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener who loved to share her vegetables and flowers. Mrs. Turner was also an avid traveler and shopper and loved cooking, music and reading her Bible. She loved her family and grandchildren and â
