Lee Toney

Mr. Lee Toney, age 62, of Commerce died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mr. Toney was born in Banks County to the late Oma Lee and Ophelia Miller Toney. He was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and was a United States Marine Veteran of Vietnam. Mr. Toney was employed as a crew foreman with Nichols Disinfectant Services.

Mr. Toney is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Nichols and son, Josh Toney both of Commerce; sister, Faye Griffin of Jefferson and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 28th at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McCook officiating. Interment will follow in Webbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 PM.
