Roy Roger Williams

Funeral services for Roy Roger Williams, age 70, of Mt.Airy, will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2010, at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Butch Franklin will officiate with burial to follow the service in Eastview Cemetery in Mt. Airy.

Mr. Williams passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at his residence, his loving family by his side.

Born in Habersham County, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Clyde and Lonie Nunnally Williams. Mr. Williams was a self employed electrician and plumber for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by brothers Leon and Jr. Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Stephens Williams of Mt. Airy, daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Terry Tyler of Mt. Airy, sister Betty Cragg of Alto, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5495 Highway 197 South, Clarkesville, on Saturday, February 6, 2010, from 6:00 â
