Roy Holland

Roy Holland, 61, of Dawsonville died Saturday February 13, 2010 at Chestatee Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.

A native of Dawson County, Mr. Holland had been living in Lumpkin County for the past ten years. He worked most of his life as a carpenter, was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a son, David Holland; father, Asburry Holland, and sister, Barbara Beavers.

Surviving are his children, Wayne Holland, Jefferson, Shelby Holland, Jefferson; mother, Nadine Holland, Dawsonville; sisters, Lillian Funderburk, Dahlonega, Brenda Hampel, Dawsonville, Deborah Johnson, Dawsonville; brothers, Lamar Holland, Dawsonville, Jerry Holland, Dawsonville, and several grandchildren.
