Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Violet May Murvine, age 83, of Cleveland. Mrs. Murvine passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, 26, 2010 from the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, Florida with Rev. Chris Shelnut officiating.
Mrs. Murvine was born in Portage, Pennsylvania on May 29, 1926 to George Davison and Leta Billings Daviso. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her sons, Ray Swartzentruver and Harry Corle; daughters, Karen Martin, Leeta Greene, Liz Willis, Violet Walker, Barb Noon and Beverly Laventry. Mrs. Murvine is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, February 24th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
