Doyle John Miller

Obituary Date: Tuesday, February 23, 2010
Doyle John Miller, age 64, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden, heart-related illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch with internment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Revered Jeff W. Crook and his grandson Revered John Aaron Bennett will officiate. Dr. Grady Sutton will officiate the graveside service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 and Thursday, February 24, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at North Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller was born May 13, 1945 in London, England to Doyle and Patricia Stephens. He sailed to the United States on the Queen Mary where he became a life-long resident of Hall County. John worked as a car salesman; first for Milton Martin, and then at his own car lot. He was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Miller, and his brothers Bobby and Jack Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Nancy Miller of Gainesville; daughters & sons-in-laws, Kelly & Al Bennett of Flowery Branch and Sandy and Gary Entrekin of Gainesville; grandchildren, Aaron & Andrea Bennett, Austin, Caroline, Alex, Grayson, Brady, & Brice; mother, Patricia Miller Stephens of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Susan & Ed Cave of Buford and Dinah and Ken Wallace of Gainesville; sister-in-law Carolyn Miller of Gainesville; several nieces and nephews, special friends Marcene and Trevor Grogan, and Ricky & Angel Perez.
