Ernestine Roper Shuler, age 77, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Gwinnett Medical Center. Mrs. Shuler was a lifetime resident of Gainesville. She retired from K-Mart, and she was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Perlene Roper and a brother, Donald Roper.
Survived by a son and daughter-in-law Randy and Lynn A. Shuler; one sister, Willene Cantrell of Gainesville; three brothers, Rev. Dennis Roper of Gainesville, Kenneth Roper of Marmaduke, Ark. and Cecil Roper of Gainesville; one granddaughter and 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home. Rev Chris Anderson will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 27,2010 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.
