Florence O. Parham

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Florence O. Parham, 85, of Homer who died on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her residence. Born in Danielsville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertie McElreath and was the widow of J.P. Parham. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Odell McElreath and Dallas McElreath. Survivors include a sister, Florella Culpepper of Banks County; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence O. Parham will be conducted on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 3:00 pm from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Gordon officiating. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service; interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, March 1st, from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
