Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Smith

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Smith, age 73, of Jefferson, who passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Mrs. Smith, born in Birmingham, Alabama, was a homemaker and a daughter of the late, John P. and Leila Mae Bomar Pointer.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Elvie Smith, Jr. of Jefferson. Son and daughter-in-law, James A. (Jimmy) and Jennifer Eubanks of Tucker. Daughter, Nancy Wilkins of Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Steven Caldwell of Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Sherrill and Rhett Godfrey of Jefferson. Eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family request that memorials be made to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Hospice, 2150 Limestone Parkway Gainesville, GA 30501.
