Funeral services for Ruby Sorrells Fulbright, age 90, of Clarkesville will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 2:00 PM from the Ruby S. Fulbright Recreation and Aquatic Center in Clarkesville. Burial will follow the service in Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulbright passed away peacefully Friday, March 12, 2010 at Habersham Home West.

Born May 7, 1919 in Clarkesville, Georgia, Mrs. Fulbright was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Mary Wallace Ivester Sorrells. Mrs. Fulbright was the Clerk for the Habersham County Commission for 55 years. She was a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Fulbright.

Survivors include son and daughter in law Jack and Joan Fulbright and son Kim Fulbright all of Clarkesville.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel, 5495 Highway 197 S., Clarkesville, on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM.
