Annette Underwood

Mrs. Annette Underwood, age 82 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Gateway Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Underwood was born in Cleveland, Georgia on November 15, 1927 to the late Henry H. and Julia Allison Ledford. She was a homemaker and a member of Loudsville United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gibbs Underwood and sisters, Wilma Barrett, Lois Abernathy and Kate Howard.

Survivors include daughters: Laura Allen, Cleveland; Jana & Bobby Pope, Chapin, SC; grandchild: Chelsea Allen, Cleveland, great grandchild Matthew Feltman, Cleveland; grandchildren: Robert Pope, Tyler Pope and Alison Pope, all of Chapin, SC; sister:Henrietta Herrin, Cornelia.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Loudsville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Louise Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
