Joyce Robinson

Mrs. Joyce Robinson, age 73, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Mrs. Robinson had lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was a member of Glory Bound Baptist Church in Alto, GA.

She was the daughter of the late Earl and Annie Ellis Abercrombie and was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Robinson; brother, Eddie Abercrombie; sister-in-law, Wilma Abercrombie; brother-in-law, James Gibson.

Joyce is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Monie Shope, Dahlonega, GA, Michelle and Brad Masters, Gainesville, GA; sisters, Ginny Gibson, Murrayville, GA, Betty Lee, Dahlonega, GA, Georgia McDonald, Murrayville, GA; grandchildren, Raven Lingerfelt, Brandon Masters, and Taylor Masters; great-grandchildren, Lexi Lingerfelt and Coleman Lingerfelt. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday March 20, 2010 at the Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 PM until 9 PM and all day on Friday.
