Mrs. Darlene Sally Carter, age 51, of Alpharetta passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lilly Mae Hicks.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Carter of Alpharetta; daughters and son-in-law, Marcia Turner and Jennifer (Carter) and Jim Strom, all of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Kimberly Turner, Melissa Turner, Jim Strom and Jodie Turner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rachel Brooks, Edna Heartness, Patricia and Wendal Gooch, Marty and Johnny Murphy, Gail and Ledford Martin, Charlotte and Robert Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David McGee officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 18th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday, March 19th from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 20th from 9:00 am until the time of service.
