Steve Marvin Shadburn

Obituary Date: Monday, March 29, 2010
Mr. Steve Marvin Shadburn, age 56, of Cumming passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 on the farm that he loved. He was a poultry farmer and a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Bud Shadburn; his father and mother-in-law, Beler and Geneva Martin; grandparents, Hubert and Madge Martin and Marshall and Estie Shadburn, and brother-in-law, Maurice Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Helen Martin Shadburn; daughters and sons-in-law, Lee and Charlotte Hill, David and Jennifer Hughes; granddaughter, Rachel Kay Hill; mother, Juanita Martin Shadburn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Cindy Shadburn, Margaret Martin, Ralph and Mildred Martin, Lyndon and Annette Martin, Mike and Nancy Eason, Perry and Susan Tallant, all of Cumming, Dr. Roger and Vickie Martin of Gainesville; nieces and nephews, Emma, Veralea and Otis Shadburn; a number of other nieces, nephews also survive; and a very special great aunt, Mary Flara Loggins of Gainesville.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Eddie Martin, Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. Gerald Blackburn and Rev. Dustin Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 30th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
