Perry Wayne Shirley

Perry Wayne Shirley, age 43 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, April 06, 2010, following injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Born in Hall County, GA on November 16, 1966, he was the son of Diane Alexander Roach of Cleveland and the late Wayne Shirley. Mr. Shirley was employed with Roach Sanitation and enjoyed hot rods and racing.

In addition to his mother, Perry is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Sonja and Reggie Hix of Alto; nephews, Easton Singleton and Preslee Hix both of Alto; special friend, Jenny Parker of Cleveland.


Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday, April 10, 2010, at The Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Alexander, Rev. W.A. Jenkins and Rev. Jason Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 pm on Thursday and from 2-4 & 6-9 pm on Friday. The family is at the residence of mother, Diane Roach, 456 Possum Trot Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.
