Obituary Date: Wednesday, April 7, 2010
Helen Leach, age 81, of Gillsville passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an sudden illness.

Funeral services are schedule for Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home North-Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in the Holly Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Kenny Sizemore will officiate and Reverend Matt McCoy will officiate at the graveside. The family will receive friends Friday, April 9, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leach was born on July 24, 1928 to the late Leon Brownlee and Vivian Estes in Fulton County. Mrs. Leach worked for C & S Wholesale Meats for years. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Leach is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leach and her sister, Peggy Wilkerson.

Mrs. Leach is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and John Lipscomb of Gillsville; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Carolyn Leach of Eatonton; granddaughter, Angela Miller of Tyrone; grandson and wife, Andrew and Julie Leach of Jackson; granddaughter and husband, Jennifer and Carver Anderson of Maysville; grandson and wife, Jonathan and Kelley Lipscomb of Pendergrass; grandson, Daniel Lipscomb of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Drew Leach, Addison Leach, Jacey Anderson, Ruby Anderson, Ella Lipscomb, Coen Miller; a niece, and a host of nephews who loved her dearly.

Memorial Park Funeral Home North-Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501 is in charge of arrangements.
