Charles Parson

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Charles Parson, 67, of Maysville who died early Tuesday morning, April 20, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Bynum and Ordean Emmett Parson. He was the husband of the late Vivian Denton Parson. Survivors include a son, Farron Charles (Donna) Parson of Danielsville; brothers, Sam and Waymon Parson, both of Commerce, Dairl, Otis and Steve Parson, all of Maysville; grandchildren, Brandon Parson of Danielsville, LaShea Fortson of Bowman and Erica Parson of Athens; great-grandchildren, Aiden Fortson and Cohen Fortson.

Funeral services for Charles Parson will be conducted on Thursday, April 22nd, at 2:00 pm from the Redeemed Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Parks officiating.
