David Brian Quinn

David Brian Quinn, 53, of Flowery Branch died suddenly on April 24, 2010. Born in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of Dr. John (Evelyn) Quinn of Indian Head, PA and Vivian (Thaddeus) Urban of Easton, MD.

David worked at New Florence #2 Mine and was a member of the UMWA for 17 years. He enjoyed camping and had a passion for NASCAR racing. He also bred Corgis for a number of years. A loving son, husband, father and friend, he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife, Gloria Quinn of Flowery Branch; daughters, Carylle (Scott) Leonard of Mary Esther, FL and Marisa (Arturo) Mancilla of Oakwood; brother, John (Marsha) Quinn of Norwich, CT; sisters, Mary Ann Quinn of Easton, MD, Robin Quinn of Los Angeles, CA, Joy Quinn of Fairfax, VA, Jillian Quinn of Pittsburgh, PA and Jane Quinn of MT.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2010 in the chapel of the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home in New Florence, PA. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery in Johnstown, PA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 2:00 â
