Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Morgan Lee Shubert, 75, of Carnesville who died on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at his residence.
Born in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Malcolm Lee and Nora Shubert. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include his wife of the residence, Patricia Ann Shubert; children, Janet Dyer of Franklin County, Ted Shubert of Madison County, Jerry Shubert of Texas, Mark Shubert of Franklin County and Charles Shubert of Jackson County; step-children, Christina Peck, Tracy Dawn Allison and Roger Charles Allison, Jr., all of Jackson County; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Riverside Baptist Church in Royston with Rev. Roger lord officiating. The body will be cremated.
