Mrs. Elizabeth Bailey Alderman, age 78, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Mrs. Alderman was a member of the Cumming First Baptist Church. She was born in Sneads, FL to John and Addie Lou Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank J. Alderman; parents, John and Addie Lou Bailey; brother, Bill Bailey and sister, Paula Pierce.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Frank Butch Alderman Jr. of Hartwell, Michael Alderman of Marianna, FL and Jason and B.J. Alderman of Chipley, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and John Culp of Hoover, AL; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Lakeland, FL and JoAnn Stone of Sneads, FL; brother, Bobby Bailey of Sneads, FL; sisters-in-law, Faye Cobb of Spanish Fort, AL and Emily Bailey of Loganville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 30, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday, April 30th from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
