Clyde Vinson Weeks

Clyde Vinson Weeks, age 76 of Norman Park, GA and formerly of Alto, passed away Saturday, May 08, 2010, at private nursing facility following an extended illness.
Born in Thomaston, GA on April 06, 1934, he was the son of Bertha Weeks Dawkins of Norman Park and the late Clyde Dalton. Mr. Weeks was an independent trucker. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses, also traveling and doing genealogy. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Robert & Mary Frances Elizabeth Weeks; son, Robert Vinson Weeks; brother, J. P. Fields; wife, Nettie Copeland Weeks.
In addition to mother, survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie & Trent Jordan of Alto and Nadine & Tommy Edge of Gainesville; son, James Matthew Weeks of Norman Park; Margaret Weeks of Alto; grandchildren, Nina & Kevin Hewell of Gillsville, Hannah Jordan of Alto, Matt Edge and Kyle Edge both of Gainesville; best friend and cousin, Ruby Cochran of Thomaston.
