Thomas Wayne Lussier

Mr. Thomas Wayne Lussier, age 56 of Oakwood, Georgia, passed away May 14, 2010, following a long and courageous battle with leukemia.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Glenn Parrish will officiate The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, May 17, 2010 at the funeral home.

Tom was born on March 8, 1954 to Robert Michael Lussier and Jean Klipfel Lussier in Buffalo, New York. Before relocating to Oakwood, GA in 1989, he also lived in Ft. Lauderdale and Lake Placid, FL.

Mr. Lussier was employed in the wholesale plumbing supply business for many years. He was passionate about his family, motorcycles and loved working in his yard.

Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy Montgomery Lussier; daughters, Laurie M. Lussier of Flowery Branch, Tracey L. Campbell and husband Casey of Lula; Kimberly A. Edge and husband Terry of Oakwood; grandchildren, Reese Lussier, Trey Campbell, Mac Edge, Ansleigh Campbell, Thomas James Hamrick and Anniston Edge; brothers, Robert M. Lussier, Jr. and Gary Lussier; sisters, Margaret Lussier, Cathy Hays and Barbara Shovlin; mother-in-law, Margaret Montgomery, Piqua, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
