Maulene McConnell Carlan Perry

Mrs. Maulene McConnell Carlan Perry, age 76, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Winder Healthcare and Rehab. Mrs. Perry was born in Madison County, GA to the late Luther and Etta Jane Hill McConnell.

She was a member of the Methodist faith and was a floral designer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Perry and brother, Ernest McConnell.

Mrs. Perry is survived by her sons, Steve Carlan and Stuart Perry both of Commerce; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Pittman Lord of Gainesville; and grandson, Eli Carlan of Commerce.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 21 at 11 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. David Sharpton officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6 to 8 PM.
