Betty Jo Malone

Mrs. Betty Jo Malone, age 83, of Cumming passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Embracing Hospice. She was a loving wife and mother, moving to Cumming from Dallas, TX in 1965. Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Ray Malone and son, Mike Malone.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Calcagno of Alpharetta; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Lisa Malone of Dawsonville and daughter-in-law, Sherrie Malone of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Jason and wife Kim Malone of Dahlonega and Meredith Malone of Dawsonville; great-granddaughter Maddy Malone of Dahlonega; brother Bryant Smith of Elberton, sister Amilee Seelig of College Station, TX; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Gattis officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of the service.
