Marie Thompson

Marie Thompson, 74, of Oakwood died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Hall County she was born on January 8, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Lex Everett and Mary Blanche Duncan Turk. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.



Survivors include her husband, Billy D. Thompson, Sr. of Oakwood, son, Billy D. Thompson, Jr. of Oakwood; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Brett Hicks of Buford, grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson Hampton, Jonathan Thompson, Ashley Hicks, Alyson Hicks; sisters and brotherâ
