Robert Truett "Bob" Maney

Robert Truett "Bob" Maney, age 76 of Decatur and formerly of Habersham County, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010.

He was born in Homer, GA the son of the late Richard and Rosa White Maney. Bob was the owner of Bob's Catering Service serving the Atlanta area since 1962. He was a member of Chamblee-Sardis Lodge No. 444 F. & A.M. and a Shriner. Bob was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family. He also was an avid deer and rabbit hunter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Irene Maney; brothers, Arthur Maney, Rad Maney, Boyce Maney, Jewel Maney, Milus Maney, and Clyde Maney.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jerrie Wallace Maney of Decatur; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Steve Stratton of Jacksboro, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Cecelia Maney of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Willie Rea Dorsey of Cornelia, and Winnie and J.D. Gabriels of Clarksville, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Maney of Cornelia, GA, and Monroe and Shirley â
