Elsie Legg Brussack

Elsie Legg Brussack, wife of the late Julian Brussack and mother of the late Patty Brussack Richardson, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Habersham Home West. She was 88.

Mrs. Brussack, a registered nurse, worked at Habersham Medical Center and Habersham Home for many years before retiring. She also managed the outlet store for International Outerwear, Inc. in downtown Clarkesville.

She was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army Nurse Corps.

Mrs. Brussack is survived by two sons, Bob Brussack of Athens and Dr. Jerry Brussack of Buford; by two grandchildren, Issaqueena DeCupere of Belgium and Ian Brussack of Athens; by a son-in-law, Tommy Richardson of Baldwin; and by a daughter-in-law, Pat Brussack of Athens.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 3, at Hillside Memorial Chapel from 5 p.m. To 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Salvation Army.
