Agnes Jeanette Sexton Davidson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Agnes Jeanette Sexton Davidson, age 79 of Jefferson formerly of Munford Alabama, who passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Mrs. Davidson was born on August 5, 1931 in Jackson County, GA, a daughter to the late Rafe and Ruth Mote Sexton. Mrs. Davidson was a Seamstress and a member of the Minford First Baptist Church in Munford, AL. She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Reynolds and brother in law, Dean Reynolds.

Survivors include husband, Leroy Davidson, of Jefferson, daughter and son in law, Lawanna and Ronnie Laird, Jefferson, son and daughter in law, Jeff and Vicki Davidson, Braselton, Grandsons, Joseph and Adam Laird, Granddaughters, Alicia, Sabrina, Abby Davidson, brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Guyrene Sexton, Billy and Helen Sexton all of Gainesville, and Jimmy and Linda Sexton of Jefferson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 7pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Sexton officiating. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm, prior to the service, in the funeral home. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Davidson will also be held on Sunday afternoon on August 29, in the Munford First Baptist Church in Munford, AL.
