Evans Funeral Home announces the death Tracy Lee Tompkins Jr., age 27, of Hull, GA, who passed away on September 5, 2010. Mr. Tompkins was born on August 1, 1983 in Commerce, GA. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving two tours in Iraq and had earned an Associates Degree in Business. He was currently attending Piedmont College in Athens.

He is survived by his Parents, Tonya and Tracy Lee Tompkins Sr. of Lula, Tim and Bonnie Smith George, of Covington and Timmy Anglin of Maysville, sisters, Jill Tompkins, Commerce, Amber Anglin, Commerce, Casey Tompkins, Murfreesboro, TN, Catilin Tompkins, Murfreesboro, TN, Abby Tompkins, Lula, brother, Conner Tompkins, Lula, Grandmother, Sallie Disharoon, Jasper.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Harril Millsaps and Rev. Phillip Burt officiating. The burial will follow in the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. Honored as pallbearers are, Timmy Anglin, Chad Samples, George Tompkins, Scotty Tompkins, Curtis Smith and Kyle Pilgrim. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Smith, Ricky Tompkins and Kyle Samples. The visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
