Katherine Dawn "Kathy" Allison, age 44 of Buford, GA died Sunday, October 17, 2010 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Dr. David Davis and Mr. Don Watkins will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 5-9 PM at the funeral home. Kathy is survived by her partner, Clara Gracia, Buford. Mother and Step Father Jenny and George Walston, Woodstock. Father and Stepmother, Royce and Cathy Allison, Buford. Sister, Nicole Lenard, Buford. Nephew and Niece, Ryan Allison and Julianna Gracia. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Kathy was a native of Atlanta, GA and a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Lithia Springs High School and earned a Bachelor of history degree at the University of Georgia in Athens.
