Maria Arabelle "Belle" Esco

Maria Arabelle "Belle" Esco, 76, of Cumming, GA died on October 20, 2010 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Santa Fe, NM she was the daughter of the late Espiridion and Rufina Montoya. Her sister, Anabelle Rodriquez, also predeceased her.

During her career in administration, Belle worked for the Air Force at Dobbins Air Force Base and later for the Mental Health program in Cumming, Georgia. She was an exceptional grandmother who was also an avid Bull Dog fan. Belle was known for her wonderful cooking and her love of animals. She instilled the love and culture of the Southwest in her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Clay Esco of Cumming, GA; son, John (Kay) Esco of Woodstock, GA; daughters, Christella Esco of Dawsonville, GA, Sandy (Scott) Parker of Cumming, GA and Pamela (Tim) Reid of Dawsonville; sister, Marie Ramirez of Buena Park, CA; brothers, Gilbert Montoya of Grants, NM, Paul (Stella) Montoya of Espanola, NM and Fred (Porfie) Montoya of Rio Rancho, NM; brother-in-law, Paul Rodriquez of Nambe, NM; grandchildren, Natalie Gaydon, Travis Esco, Samantha (Jay Warden) Parker, Shannon (Jordan) Martin, Anna, Riley and Jessia Reid; and great-grandchildren, Bailey Parker, Carson Gaydon and Bennett Martin.

Funeral Mass will held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.
