Paul Forgach

Paul Forgach, age 85 of Turnerville, GA, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010, at Mt. View Health and Rehab Center, Clayton, GA.

Born in Monessen, PA, on Nov. 21, 1924 he was the son of the late Matthew and Barbara Baran Forgach. Mr. Forgach was self-employed. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II where he was the recipient of the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Presidental Unit Citation and World War II Victory Medal.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Forgach; sister, Catherine Gandy and brother, Joseph Baran.
Surviving are wife, marred on May 06, 1978, Sandra Forgach; daughter, Ann Marie Hollman-D'Amico of Brookfield, WI; son, Paul M. Forgach of West Bend, IN; step-children, Mark Puttkammer of Indianapolis, IN, Mandy Signoreli of Houston, TX, Jini Merck of Clarkesville, GA, and Kyle Puttkammer of Duluth, GA; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Frances Burych of Pittsburgh, PA and his special Yorkie, Minnie.

Funeral services are 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 205 Dennis Cash Road, Mt. Airy, GA 30563. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:30
