Susan Dee Biddulph-Wood

Susan Dee Biddulph-Wood, 62, of Dawsonville died Friday October 29, 2010 at Embracing Hospice following a short illness.

Born May 23, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, she had lived in Dawson County over 30 years having moved from Forsyth County. A talented artist, she was known for her scenic backdrops for movie sets and television stations. She was a master seamstress who designed pageant apparel and was known for her eccentric hats. She reproduced historic period hats which were used in reenactments in the United States and abroad. Susan was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Bradford; sister, Beverly Shave; and brother, David Biddulph.

Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Michelle and Larry White, Dawsonville; sons, Scott "Chaps" Biddulph and his fiancé, Lori "Snow" Mills, Dahlonega, Tom Bell, Cartersville; daughter in law, Pam Biddulph, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Diane and Joe Stanchic, Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Cody Bradford, Dusty White, Hannah White, Macy Biddulph, Zachary Biddulph, Marley Biddulph, Nikolas Poston; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Grogan.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 1, 2010 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kenny Rice will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 9 at the funeral home.
