Janette Walker Seabolt

Mrs. Janette Walker Seabolt, age 83, of Dahlonega, GA, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Mrs. Seabolt was born in Coweta County, GA. She had lived all of her life in Dahlonega and was a homemaker.

Janette was the daughter of the late Boyd Walker and Lula Anderson Walker. She was also preceded in death by her first born daughter, Janice Seabolt; brothers, H.C. Walker and Thurman Walker; sister, Helen Dockery.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lyndal Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son in law; Sharon and Dwayne Brown, Dahlonega; sons and daughters in law: Don and Gail Seabolt, Larry and JoAnn Seabolt, Phil and Tena Seabolt, all of Dahlonega, Derrel and Lisa Seabolt, Cleveland, GA; sister, Maudell Townsend, Oakridge, Tennessee; grandchildren, Donna Roberts, Sherry Buffington, Shelly Seabolt, Adam Rhinehart, Candi Clark, Amanda Clem, Mindy Clark, Alyssa Seabolt, Shane Brown, Ryan Brown, and Ashley Brown; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Seabolt are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Junior Abernathy, and Rev. Marty Abernathy will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Seabolt will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 1:30 PM until 2 PM.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 PM until 9 PM and all day on Friday at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.
