Charles Augustus Wiechard, Jr.

Charles Augustus Wiechard, Jr., age 81 of Clarkesville passed away November 2, 2010.

Born November 3, 1928 in Audubon, New Jersey, Mr. Wiechard was the son of the late Charles and Anna Fryburg Wiechard, Sr. Mr. Wiechard was a plastics engineer and was employed with AT&T in Atlanta and he was a professional musician for 30 years and was a member of the Atlanta 17 Band.

Survivors include his wife Rose Grossman Wiechard of Clarkesville, sons and daughters in law Charles and Elena Wiechard of St. Petersburg, Russia and Greg and Kelly Wiechard of Suwanee, granddaughter Natalie Wiechard and grandson Greg Wiechard both of Lawrenceville, as well as three great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 14, 2010 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Mark Major and Mike Forrester officiating.
