Dorothy Faye "Sue" Thurmond

Dorothy Faye "Sue" Thurmond, 64, of Foley, Alabama died November 10, 2010 at her residence following a short illness.

Born June 6, 1946 in Lumpkin County, she was formerly employed by Worldwide and enjoyed cutting hair creating floral arrangements. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Wilson; son, James Thurmond; and brothers, George Wilson, James Wilson and Bill Wilson.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Thurmond, Dawsonville; son, William Thurmond, Dawsonville; mother, Ollie Wilson, Robertsdale, AL; sister, Bernice Burt, Foley, AL; brothers, Charlie Wilson, Gainesville, Roy Wilson, Culthbert, GA; two grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Services will be held Sunday November 21, 2010 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Danny Ray Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday November 21, 2010 from 9am until the service hour.
