Lillian Hill

Lillian Hill, age 91, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010.

Mrs. Hill was born on June 5, 1919, in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Harvey and Nell Purcell Dover. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hill. Mrs. Hill graduated from North Georgia Technical College as a nutritionist. She retired from Scovill Manufacturing as a quality control inspector with 35 years of service. Mrs. Hill was also a member of Clarkesville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Vivian Hill, Conyers, GA and John and Melissa Hill, Gainesville, GA and 5 grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Grady Walden officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
