Harold W. Bennett

Evans Funeral Home announces the death Mr. Harold W. Bennett , age 79, of Braselton, who passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Mr. Bennett was born on March 11, 1931 in Cornelia GA, a son of the late L.L. Bennett and the late Corrine Phillips Bennett. He was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church and was a retired Pipefitter from National Automatic Local #669 in 1986. After retirement, he pursued his love in Model A Fords and was a member of the Model A Ford restorers club. His sister, Sue Platt, preceded Mr. Bennett in death.

Survivors including his wife, June Smith Bennett of Braselton, Daughters and son-in-laws Vickie And Steve Stewart, Braselton, Martha and Greg Baker, Jefferson, sisters, Esther Clemmons, Chattanooga, TN, Carolyn Veal, Flowery Branch, brother, Jimmy Green, Gainesville, grandchildren, Heather Behles, Gregory Stewart, John Dickson III, Lauren Dickson, Callie Dickson, great grandchild, Natalie Behles, several nieces, nephews of cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2PM in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Coble officiating. The visitation will be held on Saturday, from 1-2PM at the funeral home, prior to the service. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens with Greg Stewart, John Dickson, Rick Myers, Bob Myers, Luke Myers, Hugh Myers, Calvin Myers, Eric Linderman honored as pallbearers.
