Frances Mable Hilliard Thompson

Frances Mable Hilliard Thompson, 71, of Mountain City, GA, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA.

She was born in Crenshaw County, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Jesse James and Liller Lucille Russell Hilliard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lester Thompson, and three brothers, Bill Hilliard, Kenneth Hilliard, and William Hilliard.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by 4 daughters, Brenda Rider of Elba, AL, Rohnda Shope of Rabun Gap, GA, Cindy Campbell of Rabun Gap, GA, and Cissy Henry of Lakemont, GA; a step-daughter, Pam Thompson of Clayton, GA; one brother, J.R. Hilliard of Kinston, AL; 4 sisters, Betty Jean Williams of Winter Garden, FL, Evelyn Davis of Opp, AL, Roxie Bowers of Kinston, AL, and Syble Thomason of Alto, GA. 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and other extended family members also survive.

She was employed as an inspector for Gap Manufacturing and loved her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family in Alabama.
