Clarence Ned Cagle

Mr. Clarence Ned Cagle, 89 of Lula passed away at his residence on December 23, 2010.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Cagle was the son of the late Allen and Angeline Poole Cagle. He was self employed as a farmer and sawmilller. Mr. Cagle served in the United States Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Cagle was a member of the Timberridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law; Becky and Melvin Carlan, Maysville; grandchildren; Alice and Mark Meeks; Jeremy and Angela Carlan. great grandchildren; Holly Meeks, Heather Meeks and Savannah Carlan.

Mr. Cagle is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Lipscomb Cagle; sisters; Claire Cagle,Bertha Cagle and Ethel Cagle; brother, Edgar Cagle.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Swayne Carlan will officiate. Interment will follow in the Timberrridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday December 26, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
