Angie Marie McDaniel Friedrichs

Angie Marie McDaniel Friedrichs, 66, of Clayton, GA, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.

She was born in Fulton County, GA and was the daughter of Grady S and Stella Kelley McDaniel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-son, Steven Friedrichs, and two brothers, Henry Grady McDaniel and Boyd Millicent McDaniel.

She is survived by her husband, David Elmer Friedrichs, a son, Billy Miller of Clayton, GA; a step son, Shaun Friedrichs of Juneau, Alaska; a daughter, Robin Roberts and her husband Jimmy of Clayton; step-daughter, Suzanne Marie Saavedra of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Don Joseph McDaniel of Duluth, GA; a sister, Doris McDaniel Dowdy of Otto, NC. Three grandchildren, Nicki Roberts, Dustin Roberts, and Anthony Miller and 11 step-grandchildren also survive.

Angie worked for the Shallowford Hospital as a switchboard operator and was a member of Harrell Grove Baptist Church in Chamblee, GA. She was a painter and loved the computer. She was a very happy person who loved to laugh.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 12 noon to 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM following visitation with Rev. Danny Cannon and Rev. Doyle Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Newman Chapel Cemetery in Otto, NC.
