Charleen "Schotzie" (O'Connell) Garrison

Mrs. Charleen "Schotzie" (O'Connell) Garrison, age 83, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Darin Cain will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Garrison was born in Denver, Colorado and was the daughter of the late Charlie O'Connell and Hannah Guyre. She was of the Methodist Faith. She loved sewing and was a member Emitus Eastern Star. She worshiped her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Mercer Eugene Garrison; and a sister, Bette Rudman.

Mrs. Garrison is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Puddin Garrison of Stone Mountain, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Terry Stovall; son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Garrison all of Gainesville, GA. Grandchildren and spouses, Scott and Caroline, Brian, Miker and Roxane, Cheryl and Alan, Lindsey and Matt and Amanda and Patrick. Five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Addison, Chloe, Caleb and Megan.
