William (Bill) Dolan

Services for, William (Bill) Dolan, 98, Clarks Bridge Road, Clermont, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, after a short illness.

A native of New Jersey, he moved to Georgia in the 1980s after a ong career as a master machinist with Airco.

During his career he worked on the guns for the battleship New Jersey, as well as projects for the space program and the Alaska pipe line.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Clermont.

Friends and family will remember "Mr. Bill" as an avid golfer and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his daughter, Elaine Carter, son-in-law, Harry Carter, and grandsons, Phillip and Michael Carter.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at 11:00 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Clermont. The Rev. Don Underwood will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately after the memorial service. Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont.
