Johnny Lee (Easy Rider) Gibbs

Johnny Lee (Easy Rider) Gibbs, age 45, of Maysville, GA, died January 27, 2011.

Mr. Gibbs was born in Gainesville, GA. He was a long haul truck driver. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Mincey Gibbs; and his father, Harold Lee Gibbs Sr.

Johnny is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Jimbo) Dowdy, Dahlonega, GA; sons, Johnny Lee Gibbs Jr., Dahlonega, GA, Jessy Gibbs, Gainesville, GA; mother, Margie Gibbs, Maysville, GA; sister, Marjorie Ann Gibbs Ramirez and significant other David Gaddis, Gainesville, GA; brothers; Ricky (Teresa) Gibbs, Terry Gibbs, and Harold Lee Gibbs Jr., all of Maysville, GA; grandchildren, Zachary Journigan, Lindsey Journigan, and Bailey Journigan.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, January 30, 2011, at Wahoo Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Stroud and Rev. Wayne Norris will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Saturday January 29, 2011 from Noon until 9 PM and again on Sunday until time of service.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
