Edith Church Dover

Funeral services for Edith Church Dover, age 80 of Demorest will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matt Thomas and Rev. Russ Barker will officiate with interment to follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Dover passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 following a brief illness.

Born September 12, 1930 in Habersham County, Mrs. Dover was the daughter of James Arnold and Martha Sosbee Church. Mrs. Dover was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. In addition to her parents Mrs. Dover is preceded in death by her brothers Jim Church and William "Red" Church, and sisters Ruth Charles and Mary Lou Minyard.

Survivors include her husband Clarence Dover of Demorest, daughter and son in law Kay and Bobby Barron of Clarkesville, sons and daughters in law Larry and Jeanne Dover and David and Cindy Dover of Demorest, brother Jake Church of Demorest, sister Ione Church of Demorest, grandchildren Shane, Shawn, Nicole, Casey, and Corey, and great grandchildren Sawyer, Carley, Sutton, Slade, Seth, Grant, Caleb, Ansley, and Dakota.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 2
