William Kirkland "Kirk" Gore

William Kirkland "Kirk" Gore, 76, of Gainesville passed away Saturday March 5, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday March 8, 2011at 7pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Kelly Woodall officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6pm-7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Gore was born November 28, 1934 in Montgomery AL to the late Rev. B.D. and Nonie Lee Harrison Gore. Mr. Gore was preceded indeath by his sister Lenora Gore Cheeks and his brother Kenneth Gore. Mr. Gore served in the United States Air Force and was a retired manager for B.O.C. gases.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Geraldine Gore of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Keith Bardes of Flowery Branch, daughter and son-in-law Renee and Hal Conner of Flowery Branch, daughter Lisa Gore of Alpharetta, daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Ken McCoy of Locust Grove, grandchildren Amber Brock, Whitney Alexander, Drew Bardes, Zach Bardes, great grandchildren Lexi and Breelyn Alexander, Adalyn Brock, step granddaughter Simone Hudson, step great grandchildren Faith Dye, Presley Hudson, Danica Hudson.
