Rex J. McClinton

Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel , announce services for Rex J. McClinton.of Gainesville, Ga .,died on Thursday March 24. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Memorial Park North.



Rex was born on August 11, 1960, in Americus, Georgia, to Jimmy and Robbie McClinton. Rex attended high school at Lyman Ward Military Academy in Alabama. He then attended Auburn University and Georgia Southwestern University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He graduated from Atlanta Law School in 1993 as Valedictorian. Rex has practiced law in the Atlanta area since graduating from law school



Rex is survived by his loving wife Jill, son Staff Sergeant Jacob McClinton (USA), and daughters Meagan and Starr and brother Walter Aldridge, and countless other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.



Rex touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He never met a stranger and always had a kind word for everyone he met. Rex had an infectious personality that always made everyone feel better. He felt that it was his responsibility to make a difference and dedicated his life in this pursuit. Through his practice as a lawyer, he pursued the ideals of equality and justice for all. To Rex, all were deserving of understanding and sympathy.



Rex's family and friends would like to invite everyone to attend the memorial service and celebrate the life of a wonderful husband, father and friend of all.
