Alice C. Cotter

Alice Cotter, beloved wife of Eddy Cotter, passed away at her home in Suwanee, Georgia on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 after a long illness.

Alice was born July 1, 1923 in Cairo, Georgia to the late Charlie Collins and Susie Newsome Collins. She graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School in West Palm Beach, Florida with a LPN Degree. Alice later retired from St. Mary's Hospital where she was employed as an LPN. Alice and Eddy shared 66 wonderful years together during which they lived in and traveled to many exciting and exotic places. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Cotter is survived by her husband, Eddy Cotter of Suwanee, daughter & son-in-law, Judy & Ted Bidwell of Gloucester, Massachusetts, daughter, Christine Cotter of Atlanta, and her much-adored grandson, Jason Bidwell of Boston, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.
