Sophia Elaine Sullivan Bryson

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Sophia Elaine Sullivan Bryson, age 59 of Cleveland. Mrs. Bryson passed away Thursday, April 07, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Camden, S.C., on March 23, 1952, she was the daughter of the late William Randolph Sullivan and Bonnie Bell Melton Sullivan.

Mrs. Bryson was a Baptist and had been a seamstress for Warren Featherbone. She had lived in White County since 1984, coming to the area from Bethune, S.C.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Chad Porter of Cleveland; brothers, William C. Sullivan of Bethune, S.C., James Sullivan of Camden, S.C., Robert Sullivan of Berryville, Ark., Thomas Sullivan of Bethune, S.C., Ricky Sullivan of Bethune, S.C., Frankie Sullivan of Florence, S.C.; sisters, Linda Rabon of Lugett, S.C.; granddaughters, Hailey Porter and Bridget Cierra Porter.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland with the Rev. Phil Williams officiating.
