Stanley "Stan" Leroy Truelove

Mr. Stanley "Stan" Leroy Truelove, age 55, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Lakewood Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Tom Smiley and Rev. Robert Puckett will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, April 18, 2011 at the funeral home.

Mr. Truelove was born in Hall County and graduated from North Hall High School in 1973. He attended Western Carolina on a football scholarship and he also attended Gainesville College. Stan was member of Lakewood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Leroy Truelove and brother, Mike Truelove.

Stan is survived by his wife, Jane (Green) Truelove; mother, Betty (Patterson) Truelove; sons and daughters-in-law, Tyler and Carla Truelove; Taylor and Brittany Truelove; grandchildren, Gracie Beth and Ty; Macy Mae; sister and brother-in-law, Lajuania (Truelove) and Steve Lester; nephew and wife, Steven and Michele Lester; nieces and husbands, Natalie (Lester) and Beau Wilson; Brandi (Truelove) and Kyle Hewell; great-nieces and nephews, Tré and Channing; Berkeley; Kayden, Kylen, Kynsleigh and Kolston; special relatives, Keith and Diane Ariail.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to "Rays of Hope" Lakewood Baptist Church 2235 Thompson Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30501.
